The miniCAM6F is a multi-spectral camera with a built-in 20-position filter wheel. It uses a 6 megapixel back-illuminated ultra-high sensitivity CMOS image sensor, two-stage TE cooling with a temperature delta of -50 degrees C from ambient. Read noise is less than 1 electron to 2.4 electrons. The ultra-low read noise gives this camera excellent low light performance.

The miniCAM6F uses a USB 3.0 interface to achieve real-time dynamic capture at up to 50 frames per second with full 6 megapixel resolution. The powerful 2-stage cooler reduces the sensor to -50 degrees C below ambient, reducing the dark current to very low levels for long exposure imaging.
The filter wheel supports both QHYCCD 12mm mini astronomical filters and 12.5mm optical standard filters. This camera is ideal for astronomical imaging, lunar surface analysis, environmental pollution detection, criminal investigation trace analysis, medical multi-spectral imaging, agriculture and forestry multi-spectral imaging, laboratory research and others.

6 Megapixel IMX178 Mono CMOS
The sensor used in the miniCAM6f is the 6 Megapixel 1/1.8-inch SONY Exmor R STARVIS IMX178 monochrome back-illuminated CMOS. The maximum frame rate is 50 frames per second at full resolution. The back-illuminated structure provides high quantum efficiency. STARVIS is Sony's designation for sensors capable of imaging in real time under star light.
The sensor window has a broadband AR coated glass window (UV transmissive quartz glass can be custom ordered if required).
Built-in 20-position filter wheel supports both QHYCCD 12mm filters and 12.5mm standard optical filters.
