QHY600M Pro (water-cooled version)
« on: April 05, 2021, 02:20:37 AM »
Hello!
I have camera QHY600M-8f248548af2218dc6. It has an external trigger input and should be triggered by a signal. But, command  ret = IsQHYCCDControlAvailable(camhandle, CAM_TRIGER_INTERFACE) returns -1. Also, if you call function
ret = SetQHYCCDTrigerFunction(camhandle, true) the camera doesn?t wait for a signal, but immediately takes an image. Why does the camera work like this? How to switch to operation mode by an external trigger signal?

Thanks, Murat

ZY

Hi,
I updated my SDK (version 13/03/2021) and now the camera goes into trigger mode. But, the camera does not wait for a trigger signal, as it is written in the instructions, but immediately makes an exposure as in normal mode. I will write you all the details through the supplier.

Thanks,
Murat

Hi,

The triger function is customized, so please tell me the trigger connector is 5PIN ,6PIN or 1PIN. Thank you. And I will transefer the information. They will check it.

Hi,
I asked this to my colleague,he told me if camera work on Single mode,it will allow two types expose signal,SDK's function and external expose signal, and which software do you use?Is it a developed software by you?
And if under live mode, the frame stream will stop to wait external expose signal.

Hi,

I took your software SDK QT Demo as a basis and slightly modified it taking into account the parameters of my camera. I received a new version SDK from your colleagues. But, in this new version SDK, the camera waits for a signal in "normal" mode and after a few seconds the program crashes. I haven't connected an external signal directly yet. I will deal with this in the near future.
And in the "trigger" mode, the camera works as in the usual mode, i.e. makes a frame when the button is pressed. Most likely, the modes of operation of the camera were confused in SDK.
I always work only in Single Frame mode.

Thanks,
Murat
