QHY5III-485 and Phd2
« on: March 29, 2021, 04:01:07 PM »
I tried my new QHY5III-485 as a guide camera with phd2, but it doesn't work. setting the exposure time to 1 second is always a minimum of 4 seconds. Setting it to 2 seconds gets to 6 seconds I have already tried to implement sdk qhy in phd2 but there is no difference. As a guide camera with phd2 it is unusable. Solutions or update to solve?
Thanks

Hi,
    I tested this issue,when I use PHD2 and V2021.03.13 version SDK,it will take about 3s to get one frame,contain 1s expose time.
When I use MDL test it,it will take about 2.5 ~ 2.8s to get one frame, contain 1s expose time.In my memory,PHD2 is use the way of capturing single images continuously. So its FPS will not so fast.

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply.
So if I understand correctly the minimum possible correction time of QHY5III-485 with phd2 is 3 seconds?
best regards

Maybe it is,software get images need 2.5s ~ 2.8s,and PHD2 also need take time to process image or other operations.
