Version 2020/8/26 works very well with my QHY294C
I cannot get it to work with my QHY5II-M
PHD2 uses my QHY5II-M as my guiding camera.  It is able to get an image but the timing of the images is very erratic.  PHD2 will get 3 or 4 images and then it will wait for 3 or 4 seconds before it gets a few more images.
My program uses the LIVE stream mode for the QHY5II-M which does not seem to work...no images.  PHD2 uses the single frame mode which seems to work...but very poor performance.

    You mean V20.08.26 version will make QHY5LIIM frame rate be not stable?
    Which version PHD2 do you use?If you download from their official website directly or compiled it with source code by yourself?
    And what parameter do you setup?

Hello,
I mean V20.8.26.  My camera is a QHY5II-M. I am using PHD Guiding V2.6.9.  I always download the program and do not compile it.  I program exclusively in LabVIEW.  My typical guiding set-up is to use 1 second exposures at gains ranging from 1 to 59.  There seems to be a sudden increase in brightness with the QHY5II-M that occurs at gain values higher than 59.  I had asked about this in a previous post but never got a response.

I have written my own 32b LabVIEW application to control the QHY294C and the QHY5II-M for purposes of imaging and for polar alignment and mount calibration.  These functions work well for me when I use V20.2.28.  If I software disconnect the QHY5II-M and then run PHD2 V2.6.9 I experience no issues with having PHD2 guide with the QHY5II-M.  If I change my program to use a newer version of the qhyccd.dll(V20.8.26), the QHY294C behaves well but the QHY5II-M simply does not want to function in LIVE mode.  When I software disconnect the QHY5II-M and then run PHD2 it is very sluggish and erratic to acquire images from the QHY5II-M.  I do not have PHD2 connecting via ASCOM...I have it connect via the dll.

I just downloaded the latest version of PHD2 and I noticed that it is using several QHY specific DLLs that are very old.  The qhyccd.dll is V18.5.2.0. There is also a qhy5IIdll.dll,  astroDLLQHY5V.dll and qhy5LIIdll.dll.  It looks like the PHD2 folks have lots of work-arounds invented to cater for using QHY cameras.

My LabVIEW application pays close attention to the current QHY SDK documentation.  The LIVE mode routine I created can function with either the QHY5II-M or the QHY294C with no alteration of the dll calls other than different gain/exposure settings.  This is only true for V20.2.28.  Anything newer does not seem to support the QHY5II-M.

    I will test it on my side,please wait some time.
    And you also can update the qhyccd.dll(V18.5.2.0) to V20.02.28 or V20.08.26 version.If you select QHY Camera to connect,PHD2 program will call qhyccd.dll.
