QHY 128C -1 Offset in FITS Header

QHY 128C -1 Offset in FITS Header
« on: April 27, 2020, 08:21:33 AM »
Why does the QHY 128C record -1 Offset in the FITS header when the actual offset used is 60? How do I fix this?

Thanks,

Jennifer

QinXiaoXu:

You can check the FITS header in APT by going to the Images tab, select the image, and click Info at the bottom.

Thanks,

Jennifer

You can also use FITS Liberator to view the FITS heading as well.

Do you have boxes checked in the CCD/CMOS tab under Advanced Settings for Higher CCD Compatibility or QHY Live View Fix?

Hi,
I contacted the author of APT,he told me this is because ASCOM don't support OFFSET interface,we need add its support. Now we are doing for it.

Thank you very much.  That is fantastic news.  I am sure many APT users will be very excited to know QHY is working on adding Offset values to the QHY ASCOM driver.
