    Yes,just like I said above,this is a last resort,if I can't seek solution with C++,I will try it.And in fact,solve the issue with C# is my conjecture,when I do it,I will check its feasibility first.And if all of this can't solve the issue,I will have to inquire SharpCap's help.

Hi,
    I received a feedback about this,maybe this is helpful,please check it:
This should be USB selective pause turned off in Windows.
1. Open "Windows Settings" and click "System".
2. Click "Power and Sleep" and "Other Power Settings".
3. Click "Change Schedule Settings".
4. Click "Change advanced Power Settings".
5. By default, the "USB selective suspension" function is on, which will cause a series of problems such as dead image, low frame rate, stagnant video flow, and unrefreshed image, etc.We need to disable this feature.
6.Disable this feature.

The USB selective suspend option I mentioned above do not work for me as well.

I'm going to try Jon's suggestion on using the webcam and see if that works.

So has PoleMaster software development stopped now? Should we stop buying and recommending that people buy PoleMasters?

I have been using SharpCap3.x PRO to do my polar alignments using the PoleMaster camera but see no reason to do this if I can just use my guide-scope ans auto-guider to do the same thing. I could sell the PoleMaster and then I would not get stuck with a dead-end product with no drivers that work.

Hi folks,

I know I am late on the party but i was not aware of this error until 3 days ago. I have had the same problems as most of you guys. But I also have an avantage ... I know that my polemaster was running well before I hat my winter break due to bad weather conditions. I will keep it short.

I belive, that the problem was introduced by an windows update that changed some power settings or by an update by asus (the brand of my laptop).

1. I was able to use my polemaster if the camera on my laptop was switch on.
2. If I send the camera application in the background the polemaster stopped and showed the same lag problems again.
3. If I created a new power profile from the windows original (perfomance) the problem was gone too.

After a drill down into all option I found the problem. Go to:
- Power Option (The battery sign on the toolbar or via windows search)
--> change plan settings
--> change advanced power settings
--> PCI Express
--> Link State Power Management
-->  Set both options on "off" or "Moderate power settings"

With this tweaks my laptop ist running well and the polemaster no longer has a problme.

Explanation: It looks now clear to me why this has some influence on the usb bus. On modern computers a lot of extra components are connected via pci express bus. Also a lot of USB chipset!

I hope that some of you are now able to fix your problems with the polemaster.  It works for a least 3 people in my area.

Best Regards
Willy

@QinXiaoXu:
- You should double check the init routine in the "driver loading section". Check if you selected the correct power profile. With new versions of windows there where some new profile introduced.
- Because some people sat, the polemaster device is runnig fine with SharpCab there must be a way to tweak the problem via the power setting API on windows.
