even short exposure can get benefits from dark frame calibation tools.

Some CMOS sensor has a weak vertical lines .Here is an image QHY5-II in highest gain and an image after calibrated.

The sensor of QHY5-II has random horizonal banding. In QGVIDEO there is an options of enhanced noise reduction.  EZP still has this function called row noise reduction.

use both row noise reduction and the dark frame calibration. It gives a almost perfectly noise performance on QHY5-II.

Live video broadcast function.

This function will broadcast the screen image throught QHYCCD WDM video driver  to any of the software which support WDM video device. It can be used for video broadcast,  remote monitor,  You can share the live astronomy to friends instantly by some network software. like skype, MSN, Yahoo message, QQ, etc

The save functions.

1. Anytime click the snap button. One still image can be saved into disk immdiately.  The save location and format can be set in the Menu->snap options.
The filename is auto-generated by software. You can use two rules. One is the hour-minute-second-ms . Another is a suffix+snapnumber. The snap number
will add one each snap.

2.Video record function.

There is four video file type.  AVI  BMP  TIF  FIT.   BMP,TIF and FIT is the single image series.

The video file type has relationship with the RAW or COLOR selection.  If select raw mode.  The image can be saved
into  Single channel AVI , Single channel BMP, Sinble Channel TIF  and 8bit FIT format.  If select Color mode. The image
can be save into Three channel AVI.  Three channel BMP, Three channel TIF format. Do not support FIT in color mode.

Since the singel channel file is only 1/3size of the three channel file. So we recommand you use the RAW mode to capture image
and debayer it during process.

You can select the save location and file type in the Menu->Video record options

You can also select the filename auto generation rules. One is the simple time stamp filename: Hour-Minute-Second-ms.
Another is the suffix + clipnumber + record number.

If you use the single file series to record. You can use the auto-subfolder to gather each clip's files into one subfolder.

Please note  there is a 2GB avi size limit.  When the size of saved file is close to 2GB the software will generate a new file automaticly.

You can select how many frame be record in one video clip. Or select how long time be record in one video clip. The
interval time of each frame can be aslo set to acheive time-delay capture.

There is indeed a limit for Avi file size due to internal frame counter/pointer. This should be 4Gb.
Limit size to 2Gb may be a sensible choice to have better compatibility with software used at a later stage to read the Avi.
