Regarding the issue of camera back-intercept, we will explain in detail on the corresponding webpage. For QHY268, there will be the following situations.

QHY268C: 17.5mm (without CAA)
This intercept does not include CAA. If CAA is used, it increases by 6mm (23.5mm total).
Note: The 17.5mm (?0.3) rear intercept does not include the thread. After the central inclination adjustment ring is added, the M54*0.75 internal thread is included.

QHY268M: 12.5mm (with CAA)
If used with the QHY filter wheel, the actual calculated intercept is 12.5mm. The actual BFL (the intercept from the CMOS chip to the top of the camera) is 14.5mm. Since most uses will match CFW with monochrome cams, please take 12.5 mm as major reference.
Note 14.5mm rear intercept does not include adapter thread, which must be used with adapters of various sizes through the top 6 screw holes.


Regarding the matching plan, QHY will officially issue a 55mm rear intercept, and a standard plan for Canon or Nikon rear intercept. The gain 0-100 in the figure is equal to the actual value set in the software, because the gain curve above 100 has not been tested theoretically, because the parameters behind the analog gain are of little significance. It is recommended to use a gain of 0-100 for setting.

It is not that the front end of the camera is too small, so modifying the front port diameter of the camera will not solve it. If you encounter hardware occlusion and calibrate the flat field, it will not be solved. At this time, you need to modify the hardware occlusion.

In fact, the 17.5mm rear intercept of QHY268C will not include thread, and M54*0.75mm thread will be included only after the center tilt adjustment ring is used.
However, QHY has a very complete adapter ring system, through the 6 screw holes on the center inclination adjustment ring, you can combine various sizes of interfaces. You can view the combined drawings here.

Regarding the ghosting problem you mentioned, you can update the latest Allinone installation package released by QHY. As for the single streak artifact you mentioned earlier, have you ever observed whether it is included in the dark field frame, can you send FITS format images? This helps us to determine whether the artifact comes from inside the CMOS chip.
