Image Issue Q&A / QHY294M Pro cannot find 2nd CFW (ASCOM)
« on: April 18, 2021, 07:11:53 AM »
I have installed a new QHY294m withe my rig that another QHY294m was already installed. My ASCOM image capture software cannot find the second QHY ccd 2nd filter-wheel. I have read somewhere in the forum that this can be solved after some modification in ASCOM drivers. However, those modified ASCOM drivers do not include the newer QHY camera that using Beta software version. Is it possible to make the 2nd QHY294M and the 2nd CFW work along with my first ones? I connect CFWs to cameras with 4-pins cable.

Image Issue Q&A / Banding in 294M image
« on: January 18, 2021, 08:09:01 PM »
Hi,

I have used new QHY294M for a couple of nights. There is a problem in horizontal banding in every image. The problem is getting worse in bright background and stacking cannot remove these bands. My setting is ASCOM driver (Beta) via SGP, factory setting gain/offset, 11MP mode. I tried change USB setting to 30 or 50 but it didn't help or images broken into 3 windows. Could you suggest for any solution?

KJ

Image Issue Q&A / Strange amp glow pattern in 163m
« on: May 11, 2020, 07:38:57 PM »
Hi,
I have a problem of a strange pattern of amp-glow in long exposure of 163m. It looks like step-pattern shadow in the lower aspect of images, very difficult to eliminate from calibration frames. My system includes QHY163m, QHY cfw2m, Optolong filters, QHY OAG, Takahasi TSA120 with TOA35 flatener.  I attach a jpeg image of my Ha master flat to show the amp-glow pattern. All images were shot with SGP.

Hi,
My QHY10 has been malfunction for about 3 month. There is a persistent vertical line in all images. The camera was made in 2015 and its number is 014486. I attached the recent bias image in the attachment.
