Title: Gain / Offset window in Maxim
Post by: DaveS on February 25, 2021, 10:48:41 AM
First post and a question. Sorry.

I have a QHY268M that I'm running under Windows 10 and Maxim 6.24 using the latest (?) software version. After going through the Maxim camera set up sequence I get this ASCOM window.

The Gain value follows the value set in the QHY camera setup window, but the Offset value is greyed out at a nonsensical -1
Has anyone else seen this? If so what can be done to either allow Offset to be adjusted in the window or to get rid of it?

This is the setup window I see, noting the firmware / driver versions.

I can't find the "ascom gain and offset" window, maybe you are using a new version
You can modify the settings use "Camera Settings..." after connect the camera
Please try to update ASCOM Driver to 21.02.22 and try again.

Many thanks.

Having to work around as Windows didn't like the file.

Thanks for the link. After persuading Windows that the file was not malicious I managed to install it.

That Gain / Offset widow is still there. but now the Offset can be adjusted away from the nonsensical value of -1
