QHY8 Camera Installation

Please DO NOT connect Camera to computer at first
Check if you computer support USB2.0

Installation Step1:

1.Uncompress the "QHY8-2007.rar"
2.Run "install.bat" in driver folders


Installation Step2:

1,Do not connect Power Supply cable ,only Connect camera to computer via USB cable.
2.Computer will find new device and display following dialog



















3.Check"No" and "Next"




















4.Select" Auto Install software(Recommend)" Click "NEXT"

5.Computer find "QHY USB2.0 1.8inch 6.0mega pixel Cooled CCD Camera" and say it do not pass the WINDOWS certain test. Please click" still go on"





















6.Windows finished the installation of the driver software(Fireware part) Red LED in CCD camera will turn on.



















7.Computer will find another USB device driver(EZUSB-FX2) Select "No", and click "Next"



















8.Selece "Automatic install software(Recommand)" and Click "Next"




















9.If the computer had installed QHY ccd camera before.Computer will require you select the which driver match best.Please select "qhy600.inf" Click "Next"


















10 computer is installing the "EZUSB General Driver" Click "Still Go on"






















11.Finished the new hardware installation


















Installation Step3:
Connect the power supply with CCD camera
Run "Astrowin1.exe"
Click "Connect Camera" Button
If driver installed success and the computer is USB2.0 .Software title will display "QHY 6.0MP Cooled Camera detected, connect success" Camera LED will turn off.

Installation Step4(Get First light):


Installation Setp5(Install MAXIMDL plugin):

Copy the "CCDPlugqhy8.dll"  into maximDL folder
